What is everyone using for weather now? FSX real world weather stopped working (Jeppeson must have shut down the server that reports to FSX). I also tried FSXWX which worked really well until recently and then stopped working completely. The website is down and there isn't a lot of talk about it recently. I'm not opposed to buying a weather program as long as it works, I'm right now in Pisa Italy on the Europe tour with absolutely perfect weather...but not real weather. Any thoughts or recommendations?

    Hi Phil.

I've been using Active Sky Next, in conjunction with REX textures with soft clouds for the past couple of years.ASN is no longer available as it has been replaced by Active Sky 16. I'm happy with what I've got so haven't felt the need to spend more money and move to AS16. It does appear to be a very good program - check out the website - - and also the vids on Youtube.

I use FSXWX exclusively. It is quite reliable, but occasionally goes down. The outage has only been temporary so far; I have experienced 2 other outages since I started using it early last year, but it has always come back online within a day or so.
